Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 1.

Things are looking good, but i`m with Den on this one. Sky Atlantic is the one channel that sits head and shoulders above them all.

The viewing figures may be guff, but its still got quality shows on show.

Any HD sports will be a real boon for me. I do not watch too much on Eurosport, but it will nice to have some more HD options. Hopefully the odd T20 tournament (it's not the greatest form of the game, but at least it's available) will start being shown in HD too.

Aye! we bought our H/D TV a few years ago for £1200?

Because we thought that the price wouldn't go any lower?

Yet, even now, visitors are always saying what a good quality picture it gives

(Has anyone out there got that Bose sound system for their TV, as we are interested in getting that)

I'd spend some time on the AV forums for advice on sound systems. You can get better sounding systems for the same price as a Bose system.

Ben works for VM and is telling you that it is incorrect. Next time CS tries to fob you off with that reason, you will be able to tell them that it is simply untrue.

Great if it does come at last, but a shame it didn't launch whilst the ACON was on. Shame.

Just The Matt is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 1.

These channels have just launched.

DMAX + 1 - Channel 171 (XL Pack only, shocked by this..)
Animal Planet + 1 Channel 218 (XL Pack Only)
Discovery Science + 1 Channel 220 (XL Pack Only)
Discovery History + 1 Channel 223 (XL Pack Only)
Home and Health + 1 Channel 276 (XL Pack Only)
Sony SAB Channel 807 (Seems to be M+ Onwards?)
ARY News Channel 819 (Seems to be M+ Onwards?)

I'm on L Pack and have seen these channels appear, can't access any of the + 1 channels as they're not on my package, the foreign channels seem to be M+ onwards.

Appears Virgin have given value to the XL pack anyway, though I do think DMAX + 1 should of been put on the L one, nevermind.
