Undercover police 'used dead children's identities'
The Metropolitan Police are investigating a claim a now-disbanded undercover unit created aliases using the identities of dead children.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-21316768
Quote:
The Guardian newspaper reported that the Special Demonstration Squad stole the identities of about 80 children who had died at an early age.
It is believed the claims relate mainly to operations in the 1980s.
The Met said the alleged practice was not something that would be currently authorised by Scotland Yard.
|
Its not what the parents of these deceased children would want to hear and if this is true it is a simply shocking practice.

The world was very different in the 1980's and the further back you look the more you'll see stuff like this which would be considered unacceptable by today's standards.

Indeed we have moved on from the old way of doing things thankfully.

We have a slow story day - get something - anything. Do you really think that the dead children's parents would have ever made a connection. Watch out for lawyers crawling out from what ever substance they were hiding under.

They are more dodgy than the crooks they feed off.
