So you have a 1TB TIVO and a 500gb TIVO and record everything in SD I've never heard anything as bizarre especially when most of your posts state you want the HD variants

The simple fact is we like watching my sports and movies in HD but as for recording we tend to record a lots of series on our boxes and SD is quite sufficient for that given that we have about 55 different series plus other programmes on the go currently and if we did them in HD our boxes would be full..

55 series wow i am struggling to find 10 on the go worth recording

My 500 gig TiVo is 14% full - and has at least 8 "homes under the hammer" & "escape to the country " on it really 55. Never watch shows I have seen before & would not hold on to them even if I did

Yesterday I found that I has set 166 series over the last two years - I remove them I know will not have any new series.

Remember l are recording for myself and my partner plus other family members put certain series on record as well so it soon builds up.

Then why does CS tell me that they do not have enough space to carry new channels, and can only replace when others drop out.
