it is a re hash of Sky 1 and Sky Living ? and TBH with the new and exclusive shows they have do you see Sky parting with it any time soon ?
Anyone seen Blue Bloods , Boardwalk empire on any other channels ?

Having Sky Atlantic would give the viewer more choice and that cannot be a bad thing.

Channel renumbering update.
I can confirmed that I do know what going to happen - I just cant say what going to happen until sometime next week.
Until next week I can only reveal what going to happen if it appeared online or in tomorrows Radio Times (Or other TV Listing books).

You can't just take one day's programming. We all know that Sky Atlantic has its fair share of rubbish, but there are also some good programmes on there, including Mad Men, Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, etc, and these series are currently denied to us.
Granted, they put Game of Thrones on Sky 1 recently, but there is no guarantee that they plan to do that with any other series of that programme. You may have noticed that the first series of Boardwalk Empire will be on Pick TV, but they are only showing the first three episodes. It's all designed to tempt you into getting Sky satellite so that you can tune into Sky Atlantic!
This channel, together with the missing HD channels, are the main things that we want from Virgin Media now, together with quicker development of the various apps on the TIVO box.
My antennae tells me that Sky Atlantic will at last come to our screens this year, hopefully before the impending price increase.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 1.
When the regional BBC 1 Wales HD goes to channel 108 on 29th January, will I still get the network BBC1HD that is currently on 108?

Thanks. This means some programmes will now be on much later at night unfortunately. But I'd prefer to get HD regional.

You can still view BBC One London after January 29th but only in SD on Virgin Channel 851,
Or you can watch BBC One from Scotland, London, Wales and N. Ireland on Virgin Channels 861 to 864.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 1.
What is anything will change on good old 101, my reading is nothing - am I correct. I take it that 851 is what I think of as BBC England ? will also remain the same. As stated I really prefer to watch "national" shows in an "early" slot than record them at "Midnight" to watch another day.

I did catch the first series of Game Of Thrones when it was on Sky 1 and must admit I was hooked. I've just bought the secend series from Blinkbox for £11, got a £5 credit for joining up.

Channel 851 is called BBC One AD and is showing BBC One London that why I call it BBC One London for.
I will reveal the names of the channels that are moving next Tuesday (January 29th) from midday.

I didn't say that VM dropped them, I said they were dropped. If Bauer didn't want to pay for carriage back then, it's not very likely that they will change that in the current economic climate. They seem happy just having their digital channels on the DTT platform.

I was just thinking on Friday that if the others Web Sites rumours are true Bauer will axe the Absolute Radio Brand and launch Planet Rock on 1215AM so Bauer may relaunch to other channels they own on Freeview to use them to broadcast until they deal with Sky and Virgin Media are up.
