Under pressure with the ball. I.E His passing is calm and collected whilst being pressed, a quality that Fabregas had as well. He can move the ball precisely and out of what seems a difficult situation. Xavi has this although obviously Xavi is better at it. This is something England's other midfielder have lacked often, the creativity and composure on the ball.

I expected to see a midfielder who can influence the game, take on players and score and create goals. Maybe an attacking player like Rooney, spmeone with a little creativity. I don't know, maybe I was expecting too much.

You're describing a generation of England midfielders, the Lampards and the Gerrards. Wilshere is more akin to Scholes and Fabregas. Just because he isn't bombing around from box to box doesn't mean he isn't creative or influencing the game. He is more about short, productive and incisive passing whilst moving the players around in doing so not captivating runs or demonstrations of power. He can influence the game in the same way Fabregas did and he is certainly creative.
He cannot do it as consistently as Fabregas or Scholes. He has less experience and he has only just turned 21. Fabregas couldn't do it as consistently until he was about 23/24. Basically the last couple of seasons with us.

Harry Redknapps trying very hard to steal Remy from Newcastle. Adz do you have any updates? also come across this read... thecentrecircleepl.wordpress.com/2013/01/14/newcastle-united-where-is-the-answer/
AC will make no more signings http://www.football-italia.net/29459...more-transfers Italy are making cuts, hardly surprising
Stoppila Sunzu to Reading www1.skysports.com/football/news/11673/8396213/Reading-close-on-deal-to-sign-Stoppila-Sunzu-from-TP-Mazembe
Arsenal back in for Wilfried Zaha www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/8397118/Manchester-United-Arsenal-preparing-bids-for-Crystal-Palace-star-Wilfried-Zaha the smoke was thick then cleared now its back. Utd want him too according to reports. Zahas an Arsenal supporter.. which could mean little but having a choice of joining Arsenal could well see him join us i think. he does talk a fair bit about us. Godforbid he tells Mr Insane the squad needs sorting out.
Sevilla sack Michel and replace him with former Valencia & Spartak Moscow coach Unai Emery

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Apparently Zaha tweeted last night "Looks like I'm on my way to the top of the Premier League" but he deleted it. I don't know if you can read anything into that, but there is some major interest from United.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
ye me neither. we'll have to wait and see. there could be a bad backlash though if he moves to Utd and turns it on being an Arsenal supporter and reportedly wanting an Arsenal move. backlash from us Gooners towards the Arsenal officials that is.

What does that say about Newcastle's so called status as a big club.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Loic Remy with 0% chance of playing in Europe for the next 5 years... Money must be worth it.
I'd care if he goes to QPR but Aubameyang as a second choice works for me, that and he's scored more goals than Remy this year.
