Re: Is it worth it?
If you're out of contact there'll be a deal to be done on that. 150 from a Virgin phone - good luck!

Re: Is it worth it?
My understanding is that a straight swap should be an extra £5 p/m plus any install charges and a one off Tivo cost.

Re: Is it worth it?
When I phoned them the other day they gave us a Tivo and a new HD box to replace the old Samsung on top for nothing and discounted the Tivo price for 2 years, upgraded us from the M to the XL package and upped our BB from 20-60meg for an extra £10/month result I thought.

Not forgetting adaptive clash management and never ending series links ;-)
But as I've always said to anyone thinking of upgrading just ask yourself what you think you're missing that the TiVo box will provide.
If you can't think of anything your missing then the choice is simple, if the TiVo box can't give you what you are missing then again it's simple. Anything else in between is up to whoever is thinking of upgrading and just needs a little research.

Re: Is it worth it?
I really want TiVo. I pay £91 a month and don't get it. There is no way I'm paying any more though.

l am in total agreement with that list although a few more apps would not go amiss.

Re: Is it worth it?
If you are lucky to have an iPad, the Virgin media TiVo app is great, I can update scheduled recordings without having to do that direct on my tv
