Arsenal back it too. a standing area that is not all out standing everywhere

I could see it at Highbury but at the Emirates, well it's a state of the art stadium, would look silly with a standing area
I like it how it is, If people want to stand and have a standing area (seated but not using the seats) that's fine. I remember why the all seater stadium rule was applied in the first place. I've stood with the supporters that generally stand at Newcastle games and I feel comfortable because of the room causes by the rows of seats, no pushing, shoving or any of that.

Been over why Demba Ba isn't as easy as paying £7.5m If it was he'd have been gone in the summer and you wouldn't have spent £12m on Fletcher.
If someone has over £30 million to commit to the signing of Demba Ba then go for it, as well as getting past his agent's clauses and his knee clauses that are now virtually impossible since he has goal scoring leverage, basically Newcastle insured themselves against his sudden retirement (Knee) something other clubs won't be able to do now that he's proven himself.
We'll be busy in the transfer market I believe come January, if someone does get through the hoops to Demba then we'll simply sign another striker. Oh and hope Demba then goes on to retire the following game. The only team I believe will jump through all of those hoops are Liverpool because they'll happily pay his ridiculous wage demands, agent fee's and give him all the clauses he want's and not protect themselves

Huh? Which part? I've said we don't/can't really go over 100k. We were willing to break that for RVP up to £120,000ish. Ba wouldn't be anywhere near 100k.
Although I don't see us going for Ba giving the injury record. Now, Cabaye on the other hand...

RVP bent them over a ledge though, was basically sell up then or get nothing for him and watch him walk away the following year.

Demba Ba want's double what he earns at present to terminate the clauses in his contract, He currently earns £40,000 a week thus making his demands £80,000 a week and that's from Newcastle.. what do you think he'd want from you lot lol?
As for Cabaye, well if you have £30 odd million to play with, Mike Ashley has a Cabaye.

we can put a few players on 100k now the new Emirates deal has come through. Ivan even said as well as clearing up the wage bill that we would be competing on the wage front more with the new sponsor deals. not all out competing but a lot closer.

Well it was a gamble really. We were going to lose him on a free so the question was threefold: 1) Would it be disruptive to keep him? 2) What if he got injured or lost form? 3) Would it be better to get the money instead?
In retrospect it was a mistake to sell him. However if he lost form or got injured then it would have been genius to sell him. Look at Nasri, great deal for us there. RVP? Not so much.

That's insane. £80,000? Not going to happen from Arsenal or Newcastle. His form this season doesn't even merit it and then there is that injury record.

Meh. £12 million or so. Never really great trying to but players from English clubs.

Mike Ashley is as greedy as they come, He might flog you a Shola for £12 million. Almost £11 million pounds more than he's worth! The Sports Direct rip off eh.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
From a football point of view Arsenal have to sack Wenger, the board surely cannot allow things to go on as they are.
So in the January sale Arsenal could buy more players, l cannot see that happening, in the Summer Wenger had the oppotunity to buy players but he says ' I am happy with what l have'
I think l will wait to see if Man Utd come in and try buy Walcott, and l think he will leave.
Arsenal have lost the bottle and it needs a new manager - now.
