two weeks without TV or Internet

had no TV or Internet since Wednesday.Tech came Friday and couldn'd get a signal between the my house and the cab, told me I needed a re-pull and they'd phone me with a date the next morning which they duly did,and informed me they could only do it on Dec 5.
I think two weeks without a service I have paid in advance for is not on,just hoping now my phone holds up,as i have had recent problems with that also.
Not Happy.

Re: two weeks without TV or Internet

Whilst this is unacceptable, and a major inconvenience, in my experience Virgin have always deducted my bill for the loss of service. I had no TV for 3 days about a year ago when British Gas tore through a cable in my street. Even though it wasn't their fault, Virgin knocked £20.00 off my bill.

No doubt they took British Gas to the cleaners for that though.

Weststandguy join the club mate, this is what happens when you join VM. I went three days without TV and they told me that they have to have more than 5 people to complain before anything was done, Last year we had nothing for a week, and l told them that if this was not put on before a cup game was due to come on, l would send all the VM stuff. It came on ten minutes before the game started.

VM gave me a discount which is digraceful, and they said that they couldnt find a fault, NO engineer came out to check.

Two days after that l saw an engineer at our main box and he told me that someone had tried to set it on fire and NO one reported it, and l live on a council estate.
