Re: Football Season 2012/2013
I love this picture from earlier today at Fergies statue unveiling...
Makes you realise how many class players have been at United when Fergie has been there.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
I hope that Levy is sick to the stomach, Harry should be back at Spurs and not managing a club that WILL be back in the championship next season.
Harry did a miracle with Spurs, but QPR are at the bottom of the league, not in the position that we were in. I can just see the face of Levy when Harry goes back to The Lane, and the Spurs fans sing out 'There's only one Harry Rednapp'

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Why would Harry want to stay at a club where the Chairman didn't value him? I'm glad he's at QPR, means I can go back to liking him. Couldn't stand him when he was at ****.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
There is apparently a rumour going round on the internet ie facebook etc that IF Spurs lose at West Ham on Sunday, then AVB will be the next manager to be sacked.
It is understood that Daniel Levy, the Tottenham chairman is not happy with the result at Arsenal and the decline of the club in the Premier League.
Has anyone else heard this rumours ? I don't have facebook or any similar websites.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Wouldn't surprise me if it is true, haven't heard those rumours myself. Trouble is, there is no patience in football anymore. 2 bad results and fans scream sack the manager. Boards listen to it, and in the majority of cases, the manager being sacked didn't deserve it.
I've never been a fan of Chelski, mainly because of a petty feud between me and my stepdad who is an avid Chelsea fan, but di Matteo did not deserve to be sacked. OK, he lost a few games. Who doesn't? Look at how many games Wenger loses each season, yet do the Arsenal board sack him? No. Although saying that, I think patience of either fans or board, maybe both, will run out soon. It's remarkable in the day of Abromavich wanting instant results for his cash that there are teams willing to stick with their manager through thick and thin.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
They got hammered by Arsenal, stuff like that happens sometimes. United 6-2 Arsenal?
You're only 6 points adrift from the top four and 2 points adrift from Arsenal.. Definitely a load of crap.
Indeed Harry should never have been sacked but it happens and you have to move on and accept there's a new guy in charge. If you continue to throw support at Harry Redknapp and not AVB then who's really bringing the club down?

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Looking at the time Ferguson has been at United, here is a breakdown of how many managers each club has had since November 1986; including caretaker managers where listed. Some interesting figures I found.
Arsenal: 6
Aston Villa: 12
Chelsea: 18
Everton: 11
Fulham: 14
Liverpool: 10
Manchester City: 18
Newcastle: 23
Norwich: 22
QPR: 27
Reading: 16
Southampton: 22
Stoke: 18
Sunderland: 16
Swansea: 20
Tottenham: 21
West Brom: 27
West Ham: 14
Wigan: 14

Hopefully he doesn't score though, every time he does someone dies.
