They Call This Fixed

Had a service failure and went from power levels around 0 to -1 to this. Lucky if I get 7mb download now. Please advise if these new levels are too low and I should call VM back. Thanks.

Re: They Call This Fixed

Well this link shows what the levels should be so you need an engineer back to sort it out properly.

Re: They Call This Fixed

have you got a fpa on your modem? I am curious to know whether the outage was a result of upgrade work and they have moved your tap point.

Re: They Call This Fixed

Or is your coax cable worked loose at one end? Or is your street box open? Or is your outside wall box exposed to the elements?

BTW when this happened to me, they had to replace the amplifier in my street cabinet. The SNR is too weak in your case to sustain that power level.
