Here's are a couple of questions which have probably been asked before - possibly many time, but I don't know the answers - I am about to cancel my Sky account

1 - When it's cancelled, will I still be able to use the box for Free To Air Channels?

2 - Will programmes I have recorded from BBC and Channel 4 be wiped out on the cancellation of my account?

You should get THESE channels....

As your account is cancelled (unless you pay £10 a month) you will loose the recording facility.

Thats very helpful - thank you! I guess that also means that anything previously recorded would also dissapear?

I think so - I made sure I watched all my stuff on my box before my end date when I moved from sky last week.

Nope no regrets - I got BT Vision instead (I can't get VM here).
