And why is this such a problem? Does it adversely affect your use of the Tivo at all? 
No. It's a small menu item added to the very bottom which you can safely and easily ignore.
VM may well have some problems but this is certainly not one of them

Personally I’d have liked for them to use this feature a lot more since TiVo launched. It would have been very useful for the last-minute deals for the NFL coverage, for example.
