Re: Virgin TV Anywhere arriving in Autumn 2012
If VM were to give every customer a £5.00 note there would be those who would complain it was not hand delivered

l think you will find that most of Virgin's products work near enough fine from launch but there will always be a few teething problems to start off with because as with most big companies nothing is 100% perfect to start off with but alas the doomsayers will criticise no matter what it seems and thats even before its been released..

Re: Virgin TV Anywhere arriving in Autumn 2012
To go back to the original news article in what hi-fi magazine where this was announced their News Editor Joe Cox sumarises (and this is paraphrased) "Content is King, VM TV Anywhere service will need to be able to offer the premium SKY channels to have chance of rivalling SKY go and being considered a success" Now if Sky are prepared to withold a series about the British, they aint gonna let us watch Liverpool v Man Utd on the go are they?

Don't know about the SH (mine seems fine) but there's never been anything "beta" about the Tivo and it seems to me that it's only the people who either don't have it, or have had it but couldn't use it, that spout that nonsense

And one suspects that will be in late November/early December as when they say Autumn its usually towards the end of that period.

Actually there are teams of people testing this stuff at VM, TiVo and special teams of customers that test in there free time so that these products can be the best they can at launch, you're not doing that. If Vm release any old rubbish why did they withhold the iOS app until it was in a better place so that the customers would have the best experience at launch?

Whoops! I forgot I was posting on the Internet Carl!
I will agree though that something went horribly wrong with the superhub!

Set to arrive in Autumn 2012, TV Anywhere will give customers Ipad app and web browser access to on-demand content and live TV.
http://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer/...allenge-sky-go
Virgin told us that it expects to have around 30 live channels available from launch across genres such as sports, kids, news and entertainment.
