Really what is the problem here

My Broadband Ping

My graph has been like this for weeks now. Online gaming is playable.

Happened since latest Superhub Firmware upgrade.

Re: Really what is the problem here

Looks like some one is using his upload speed to at least 50% of max speed possible on the 30meg service...

snap just like me..

At between 3.30pm - 4.15pm the Upload went to 130% full speed on upload to Google docs and Youtube. (they were reporting higher than the allowed 2Mb/s upload) This crashed the other application ktorrent for some reason...

If you are not uploading then you have upload restriction some were, also note that your ping returns to normal at 12am ish so its not perminant. What did you just turn off.

or VM fixed it..

There's an acid test you can try and then we can work forwards from the result. But it needs you to have a router attached to the SH in modem mode because that's how TBB needs. If the graph flattens on minimum latency, then youknow that R36 in router mode is scrwwing your latency. In that case it's likely that the router section is doing lots of work. You could prgressively turn functions off and see what TBB looks like; wirelss first; then firewall etxc.

One has to be systematic, I feel, when diagnosing this stuff.
