Superhub upgrade has killed wifi connections.

Well not quite killed it but it has made connecting a total pain. Xbox 360 forever losing connection, laptops exactly the same. I seem to be forever rebooting the modem to get things working. Is this normal? Upto them upgrading the superhub from 50 meg to 100 everything worked perfectly.

the upgrade was done a week or so ago.

software version R36

have a toy with wifi settings. disable OBSS, and don't enable greenfield

Perhaps check your network card/wifi card, wireless G will give speed upto 54mbps.

The new super hub is based on wireless N adapters, which are designed to handle speeds upto 300 mbps.

If your using windows vista or xp, try upgrading, outdated operating system and hardware are the most common cause of slow speeds.

Well getting close to dumping virgin altogether now. literally have to reboot the modem evertime I want a new device to connect. Its become a total waste of space. A quick search on google tells me that my problem isnt unique. Oh and why on earth should anyone have to go out and buy a new modem to connect to it, its what I bloody well pay for. Angry, yes.

I will note, I'm having issues being kicked off of the WiFi on the hub after nearly two years of struggling with Power level and noise issues for around two years.

I can confirm this issue has only taken notable effect since R36 (Although it feels similar to a wireless problem I was having before the power level issue)

Deskjockey advised disabling content filtering within the inbuilt firewall (I have this 100% disabled)

And they had changed the automatic wireless channel to Six. (Which I may note, was already the active channel). To top it all off they also did a factory reset post optimizing (Of course I changed it all back)
