I agree Hugh , how do you think they'll price the Sky One/Atlantic/Living/Arts content when it arrives ? I'm interested in that as we mainly watch those channels , I will certainly be giving it future consideration especially if they can add some more useful video apps.
I also read its arrival is imminent on the XBOX also with Roku and PS3 at some point.

Pay TV has increased however I believe there's now more choice than ever with postal DVD services , streaming , Youview etc this should see prices remain competitive.

There is always so much money that people have in their pot for Home entertainment and we have reached the zenith of how much people can afford and any more rises and some people are likely to cancel it alltogether.

Re: General Sky TV Discussion
I agree with you subs are getting more expensive and I too have a level of what I'm happy to pay upto , however remember Sky Sports on Sky costs £21 which wouldn't get you a child's ticket at most EPL teams and includes a multitude of sports , Sky Movies costs £16 on Sky , taking a family of 4 to the cinema can cost nearly double that. Basically only the individual can decide whether that offers value for money but as I've said if not there are plenty of alternatives.
