you go into the router settings and disable automatic channel selection and manually specify the desired channel number from a drop down list

yeah i know that but i can't choose channel 14..
its not in the list.
i can only choose 1 to 13..
does anyone how to get in channel 14?

Channel 14 is only allowed in Japan, and only in 802.11b mode.
