Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Colin 25, Scottish football had some great clubs, Motherwell, Aberdeen etc, but these have all fallen on bad times.
With Rangers playing in the third division, the only one who will benefit is the small clubs, and good luck to them, but Ranegsr will get back in the big time, but l think that Scottish football will struggle big time, and it would not surprise me if Tv pulled out all together, you can't have Celtic on each week can you.

Sigh..whilst i appreciate some think that laying before the God of mammon is the only way that football can survive, I disagree
Perhaps some clubs will struggle, some might go down, I can't predict that
But for far too long football clubs have been leaving debt all over the place, it is about time they paid..if that means clubs close..so be it
At the moment, the last few years have not been good for scottish clubs, partly fueled by Rangers spending other peoples money...which not paying tax etc was
Rangers have not been punished yet, they have only been treated like any other club.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Expect Andy Carroll back on Tyneside soon, having him on Loan is Brilliant business before having the option to purchase for the sum of between £15-20 million at the end of the season.
Mike Ashley bent King Kenny over and slapped him all the way to the bank, Brendan Rodgers is now set for the same treatment.
Is Ashley lucky or just a brilliant businessman?

We are just glad to get rid of such a vastly over-rated player adzii.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
We are confident he will score goals. No club has had the bottle to activate Ba's release clause yet and with Carroll, Ba and Cisse running around on the pitch we'll be happy.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Big Andy's supposed to be flying out to Boston next week to meet up with the rest of the group so I expect something will be announced over the next two days if anything is happening.

Indeed I don't think Carroll will be on the plane as if true the talks are commencing tonight in hope Carroll will be arriving in Newcastle this week for a medical.
