Re: R36 Firmware Beta Test (was R35)
The GUI has been updated and looks alot more cleaner. The wireless bandwidth using Greenfield mode has improved. I feel I'm get a slightly faster internet connection using wireless 5Ghz and 300Mbps but with more jitter when I test on speedtest.net. I'll test a wired connection later today.
Here's a wired connection (1Gbps).......
Thought I'd do a wireless test straight after (5Ghz 300Mps) Super Hub right in front of laptop......
So here is how bad the wireless signal is in my ground floor flat in the furthest bed room away from the Super Hub (5Ghz 27Mbps)......

Ahem…. and since they announced they need to get R36 out before the Olympics they obviously intend to go for "Gold"?

As for the full release once authorised the superhub will automatically get a signal to update.

Thank you Kymmy for the explanation.

Re: R36 Firmware Beta Test (was R35)
I do feel this is a vast improvement on the original issued software and i might no longer need to be in modem mode. Just hope they don't remove it whilst i wait for them to drop the release version on.

Yep, although I'm not in a bad area it has improved my jitter especially during peak times (4pm-10pm)
R30
R36
Not perfect but a lot more stable throughout the day
**peaks on both graphs are usenet downloads @ 100Mb

What new ones have been reported? Thought this upgrade fixed all the issue R30 didn't.
Thanks

Re: R36 Firmware Beta Test (was R35)
Not sure if this has been mentioned, but in modem mode can you use the other 3 Gigabit ports?
I'd love to be able to use the other 3 ports as a 3 port switch, and it'd be even better if i could use the wifi too.

Re: R36 Firmware Beta Test (was R35)
No idea.. Perhaps someone in modem mode can give it a try (on R30 and R36)
