Re: R36 Firmware Beta Test (was R35)

Here is my graph, you can clearly see when the R36 was installed. Prior to midnight I was on R35.

Connection is much smoother.

Not as good as that!

Will see if I've got any old pingtests saved

Here is my TBB Graph since the R36 firmware loaded last night. Im using the Shub in modem mode only. The firmware certainly appears to have improved latency.

yeah it appears that the Thinkbroadband graph has never looked better on VM. Will be interesting to see what it looks like in the evening when more people are using their connection.

Another Before-And-After comparison. Average latency is starting to creep up to pre-update levels (for the time of day), but it'll be interesting to see how it looks later today (modem mode).

Re: R36 Firmware Beta Test (was R35)

Interesting. I was on R30 prior to R36. Did that version perform better than R35 on TBB graphs?

R35 was never released - that post couldn't have been correct.

Re: R36 Firmware Beta Test (was R35)

Are the upstream and downstream channels the same as before the R36?

Re: R36 Firmware Beta Test (was R35)

The firmware shouldn't have changed the config so there should be no change to up/down speed/channels

Re: R36 Firmware Beta Test (was R35)

Reboot from the GUI is very welcome.
Hopefully won't need to now, but it'll be nice not to have to go downstairs every time it needs a gentle nudge.
