Re: What are you eating now thread?
Heinz Oxtail soup... a favourite of mine... but this one tasted awfully metallic. Complaint sent to Heinz.

Re: What are you eating now thread?
Much for the last couple of days has been sandwiches of left-over mash (spread like butter or marg) and mince-meat. Kind-of my own take on a Sloppy Joe. Nice!

Re: What are you eating now thread?
Tonight will be chicken breasts stuffed with Philadelphia Light, chopped fresh basil and flat leaf parsley and wrapped in bacon. Either Champ or Rumbledethumps on the side. Depends on what the farm shop have in stock vis a vis vegetables. We'll see when we get there

I had to google Rumblethumps! I've never heard of it. I must try it. Do you want to share your recipe

Re: What are you eating now thread?
There are many different versions of that recipe LR. Mine is mashed potato, spring greens, lightly sauteed onions (preferably shallots, they're sweeter) and mature cheddar. You can use swede in it also. I use what I have at hand. The wife doesn't complain when I make a change, it always tastes OK. Or so She claims
