No proxy??
Im just wondering if anyone else has noticed this, my connection has gone back to like it was in the good old days (No Proxy).
Its nice and quick and makes all my P2P easier to set up, anybody elses connection like this?
On the Nthellworld.co.uk main page under proxy test I get these results...
Quote:
Tools / What's my proxy?
Results:
You are an ntl customer but do not appear to be using a proxy.
Your Real IP address is 213.xxx.xxx.xx

P.S. sorry if this is a duplicate thread, I coudlnt find any other mention relating to proxies apart from the threads about the outages.

Re: No proxy??
Aside from the night when i had trouble getting in here (Which wasn't an ntl problem) I've not had to specify a proxy since coming back to ntl.
(I used luton ones when i was havning the afore mentioned problems )
