Yes l agree there is a long way to go for England as we try to rebuild after the disastrous World cup.

I think the World cup found a lot of teams wanting. My team (the Springboks) now have a new coach too, so we will have to wait for the tri-nations to test what we will bring to the table this season.
Your England coach interviewed very well in the pre match. I think he might be what England have been needing for a while now. Bring the love of the game back into the England team. Next few matches will test that theory I guess.
And yes, I'm South African, though been in Scotland for the past 14 years.

Six Nations organisers have confirmed that Wales lock Bradley Davies has been cited for the tip tackle that saw him sin-binned in Sunday's win in Dublin .
The Cardiff Blues man faces a disciplinary hearing on Wednesday.
Davies received a yellow card for upending Ireland's Donnacha Ryan but Wales coach Warren Gatland admits he should have been sent off.
"I think there's intent and if you look at that and ask me, there's definitely an intent in there," said Gatland.
"So I wouldn't argue with the decision of that being given a red card."

Wales lock Bradley Davies will miss the rest of the Six Nations after being banned for seven weeks for his tip tackle on Ireland's Donnacha Ryan
The 25-year-old was suspended at a Six Nations disciplinary hearing in London on Wednesday after pleading guilty to foul play in Wales' win in Dublin .
Davies returns on 26 March so can play in Cardiff Blues' Heineken Cup quarter-final against Leinster on 7 April.
The second-row was cited after being sin-binned by referee Wayne Barnes.

England head coach Stuart Lancaster has named the same starting XV and bench which beat Scotland for Saturday's Six Nations match against Italy in Rome.
"We have decided to leave the starting team the same to allow them more time to get together, and we are expecting the bench to come on and make an impact as they did last week," said Lancaster.

Re: Rugby Union
Incroyable!!!..... Sacre Bleu!!!.....
The France v. Ireland international at the Stade de France has been called off just minutes before the packed crowd were due to welcome the teams onto the pitch. From what I've heard, it's not even as though there was any last minute, change for the worse in weather conditions either.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/16969821
There was I thinking this sort of weather related chaos only happened in the UK.....
================================================== =======
Another gritty win for England from what little I've seen of it. As I expected, Owen Farrell hasn't let the side down and is fast proving to be as calm, calculated and metronomic in his kicking as a certain Jonny.... Here's hoping he's even more successful and enjoys an international career that isn't blighted by injury.

Ireland's postponed match against France has been rescheduled for Sunday 4 March, according to reports. It is only six days before Ireland are due to play Scotland in Dublin, while France will meet England in Paris one day after that.
The game was aborted 10 minutes before kick-off on Saturday night after the referee Dave Pearson deemed the Stade de France pitch to be unplayable following a week of sub-zero temperatures in Paris

Re: Rugby Union
I'm expecting tomorrow's papers to devote 7 pages to England and how they could have done it better...

Well you know what the media are like Russ but l was quite impressed with England's performance given the age and inexperience of the squad but fair play and congratulations to Wales for securing the Triple Crown and l look forward to our next meeting with them.
