TiVo : Complaint About Virgin Media Engineers!

If You had a Problem with the Engineers at Virgin Media In The Past Year or Two You Can Write your Dilemma in This thread Such as Turning Up late or Leaving The job half done or Not Showing Up at All Write Them Here! as long as you keep it clean. I had My Tivo Box Put In Today (Friday 3rd February 2012) and The Engineers That Virgin Media Sent Out Were totally unreliable and They Left The Job Half Done they Didn't Completely Finish The Job. also Me and My family were Cross Because with them because i Complained to There manager because the paperwork was Wrong it was supposed to be 1 Tivo Box, 2 V+ Boxes and 60mb Broadband But I Only recieved my Tivo Box and 60mb broadband from the engineneers and they transfrerred my old V+ Box Into The Living room That Used To be in My Room we were told on the phone the week before that we would get 2 brand new v+ boxes but that didn't Happen because of the mix up and also while i was talking to there manager on the phone the 2 engineers were very rude and disrespectful to me and my family i told them to stay while i was talking to There manager but they weren't having none of it and they said they would wait outside but 5mins later they left and they told there manager that i was a racist but luckly enough The manager was on are side because people have complained about them before. There Manager Had To Comeback to are house to finish the job That they didn't do and he brought a new V+ box for My Brother's room with him.

Personally I have found all VM engineers that have visited my house to be brilliant.

You Wouldn't Like the 1's that came to mine the Engineers I had were Young Early 20's and they talked Like they were gangsters they were rude and disrespectful.

Now I'm sure many of us have had a bad experience with many big companies. I certainly have with VM on several occasions, but this is usually to do with their customer service (mainly overseas call centres). However as I said previously I have never had any problems with their engineers.

So unless you haven't told us everything, it sounds like you are starting a thread inviting people to have a moan about VM...that's a bit one sided isn't it? Why don't you ask about peoples experiences (both good and bad)??

Yes it was Completed in the end. I have had Some good Engineers come out to my house in the past but the 1's that came on Friday 3rd of February 2012 made me angry because they wouldn't do as they were told and they used being racist as an excuse!. I Have'nt got a problem with virgin media the company its just there call centres and some engineers that are the problem.

Why did they accuse you of being racist?

I Don't Know They just used it as an excuse They said to there manager that i was being racist to them but i wasn't and I have witnesses to prove it. The manager said to me that they other people have complained about them too aswell.

He's a carp manager then - any decent manager would not comment either way until an investigation had been undertaken and competed, as any comments either way could prejudice any findings.

The manager did ring his office and told 1 of his bosses I Don't know if its being investigated or not i Don't Know But i have written on there Facebook page about it though.

That's not what you said.

You said

The manager said to me that they other people have complained about them too aswell.

if I was the employees' Union Rep/lawyer, I would accuse him of prejudicing / pre-judging any investigation by those comments, and would expect disciplinary proceedings against the manager.
