Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has told Jose Mourinho there is no job for him at Stamford Bridge.
Villas-Boas reaffirmed his commitment to the Blues after reports claimed the Real Madrid boss wanted a return to the Premier League next season.
"A manager who makes himself available to return to his beloved England will capture the interest for sure," admitted Villas-Boas.
"At the moment there isn't a vacancy at this club."

Re: Football Season 2011/12
Jose Mourinho expected to leave Madrid in the summer.
a pick of Clubs he could go to.
Manchester City - Obvious reasons. He has the money to buy the players he wants and I believe he could make City and even better team.
Arsenal - Wenger to Madrid?
Tottenham - Redknapp off for the England Job
Newcastle - Was the funniest thing in the list for me, Some say due to his connections with Bobby Robson. Hey... Pardew to Spurs?
Benfica
Bayern
Those were all that were included in media predictions.
I think they missed out the obvious Liverpool? I couldn't see Scousers complaining if Kenny was replaced by the Special One.

Rather have King Kenny rather then the Special One.

Well Colin we shall see what the future holds as managerial positions can alter very quickly in the modern game.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
Newcastle - No.
Arsenal - very, very unlikely. Basically No.
Liverpool - No.
Spurs - Unlikely but maybe.
Manchester City - Likely.
Man United - Certain if, and only if, Sir Alex decides to time to step down.
Chelsea - My current favourite.
England job?

Re: Football Season 2011/12
But you never know as the rumour is Real Madrid have their close eyes on Arsene from what l have heard and AVB in my mind is dead in the water if they do not qualify for the champions league and Mancini well he is increasingly losing his marbles after his frankly idiotic comments after their loss to Everton in mid week.

Wenger is unlikely to leave Arsenal, especially not for Real Madrid, Madrid are not his style and Wenger has built Arsenal to a big degree. If he leaves I can't imagine him wanting to start again elsewhere, he is very much a long term manager.
Arsenal are unlikely to employ someone who will just be there a few years as well. I think he wants United and will latch onto a club until he can get it. Spurs is a good shout if Redknapp doesn't get convicted, whereas England is a good bet if Redknapp does.

I really hope he doesn't come to United, it would be one of the worst appointments possible when Ferguson steps down.

No one will be able to succeed Ferguson, you might want a patsy to take the heat for a couple of years before firing them and getting someone that won't have to work in his shadow.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
I was always under the assumption that either Mark Hughes, Steve Bruce or Roy Keane were being groomed to take over at United once Ferguson retires. Personally, I don't think that any of them would be as successful as Fergie was and can't think of anyone who would be able to come straight in and start winning.
I still can't believe that Fergie was on the verge of losing his job in 1990 before he won the FA Cup. How different would the Premier League have been had Fergie been sacked at that point in 1990?

Re: Football Season 2011/12
The Idea of Roy Keane managing Manchester United makes me want to start watching the Russian League instead.

People will work in his shadow until Fergie dies because they'll move him upstairs and he'll always be hanging around just like Sir Matt was, not either of their faults but that'll be what happens unless Fergie remembers what it was like and steps away from the club completely.

Man U better learn what happen after Sir Matt left and get world class players, managers and Coaching Staff after Fergie leaves, they can do it as long as they clear their debt and they owners sell out!
