netgear wnce2001 problem

Hi guys I'm new to this forum. I bought a netgear wnce 2001 wireless adaptor thing yesterday to send the signal from my bt vision box to the home hub but it wint connect to the hub does any1 have any idea what could be causing this. The wireless light doesn't even flash or do anything when I press the but on the hub any help would be great thanks

I think if you are using the WPS thing to connect the two (which it sounds like you are doing), you need to press the button on the back of the WNCE2001 as well.

They are good units, I have two myself, but I prefer to configure the security myself so I didn't use the WPS facility myself.

In case you don't know, WPS is a system whereby two devices can connect to each other and set up a secure connection automatically.

To use WPS, connect the WNCE2001 to both it's power and via Ethernet to the device you want to plug it into. Press the button on the back until the WiFi light flashes red/green, then push the WPS button on the router.

I've tried what u said above about pressing the button on the back then the 1 on the router and still no joy I've read online it is a good system but I'm really struggling to get them to connect just now I done it and the light flashed red a few times then carried on flashing orange and green any other tips on what to do thanks for the help
