On whose behalf? I don’t remember a casting a vote, a Town Hall meeting or a representative from a council telling me if I was offended.

What happens the wider society think it we ethnic minorities that are up in arms when the majority of times we are not.

Yep. the monkey had to be used because that's the one I wanted to reflect you shaking your head that you have suddenly stopped doing.

I've seen it used in topics not involving race. I'll have a look in a minute what the meaning and definition was before somebody changes it.

the phrase "chip on your/her/his shoulder" is applied in all walks of life ,not just applied to black people .I personaly think you have a chip on your shoulder since any criticism of a black person gets your back up
