VM Advanced Search

Is it possible to permanently switch off VM's advanced search? I have followed their link and switched it off but it makes no difference.

i think it in myvirginmedia the other option is use to use opendns or google dns server as then it by passes virgin dns server and there genreally better and generealyl dnt get things getting blocked

I already use the google dns but VM overrides it and I can't switch it off.

you need to override it on your comptuer or router it hard to explain how not easy to do, but the opt out should disable it its disabled for me maybe contact support make sure it has disabled on the system and not jsut the web page has happened before
