V+ Box just died-help!
Hi All
Can anyone help?
I turned on my V+ Box and no channels were available. I turned everything off and back on but the V+ Box now has no lights and seems dead. Checked fuses and HDMI cable
Got an engineer booked for poss. replacement but lost all my recordings potentially
Is there any fix for this from my end
Thanks

If the box is dead you will not be able to get anything back from it.

For some bizarre reason, box dead for half an hour now V+ box just come on.
Al recordings still there. Should I get the box replaced or do you think this was a one-off glitch?

VM are unlikely to replace it if it's now working. But to be safe, I suggest you get all your recordings watched or archived ASAP, then see how it goes.
Don't forget to ring to cancel the tech visit if the box is working.

Re: V+ Box just died-help!
Hold standby for 5 seconds. Or use the switch on the back, if it's got one. Or switch off at the wall socket.

How do you archive recordings? We lost all ours when the box broke, so can you save them somehow? I ask because everything has frozen on my box tonight but I can still get into the menu part of it. TIA, WWAS.
