There's more strength in depth there than at Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool...

Very true but like the other three clubs a injury to Bale or Modric would hit them very hard as would a RVP injury or the Suarez absence hit Arsenal and Liverpool which is unlike the two Manchester clubs who have considerable strength in depth at their disposal.

Any team would struggle losing 2 players of that quality, replacements like Sandro, Pienaar and Kranjcar are better than most could call upon though and I actually question Utd's strength in midfield considering Gibson's still there.

Yes there are many who question United's strength in midfield but yet they always seem to get results when needed and l am afraid to say that this summer coming they and one or two other clubs will be trying to prise Modric away from Spurs and are likely to succeed in their pursuit of this very talented playmaker.

I could argue we have no midfield at all in some games.
The other day we started with Park and Gibson in central midfield, two players who aren't even good enough for the club.
We have Nani on one wing and he was in one of him games where he didn't put in any effort or do anything. Can't remember who the other winger was maybe Valencia who is just as hit and miss.
No idea how we win some of our games with the team we put out

Well l wish my team could win some of their games rather then drawing six times at home this season.

Not sure some United fans will be happy about Berbatov being offered a one year extension to his contract.

Not sure offering it to him in March will do any good, he's free to talk to foreign clubs from Sunday regardless of Utd's year extension clause.

l personally have never been a lover of Berbatov lazy and Languid style as l think someone like Hernandez is a much better team player with a far better workrate to match.

If Berbatov played like he did for Spurs he would be great but for whatever reason he's another player we signed who was good and didn't perform for us.
Still not convinced about Hernandez, yes he gets a few goals but most of bounced off him or tap ins from the 6 yard area. His off the ball running and link up play still needs a lot of work

Funny how the conspiracy theories aren't as prominent any more.
The only positive I can see is the manky mob only managed a slim victory at home against the worst Rangers team I can remember.
Anyway UEFA's spat with Sion continues with Sion getting a points deduction of 36 points for daring to take them on via the courts.
