HD boxes question.

I'm on XL tv, I have an Atlanta V+HD box and an NTL Samsung box for which I pay £5.60 a month. What do I need to do to get HD on both boxes? If I need 2 Atlanta boxes how much would that be?

Re: HD boxes question.

Your V+ box already supports HD. You just need it connecting to a HD-ready TV using an HDMI lead, then switch it to HD mode in the Display & Audio Settings menu.

The NTL box is too old to support HD. You would need it replacing with either a TiVo (if you want to record on it), or a V-HD if you need to record. Plus an HD TV and HDMI lead of course. The V+ box is no longer available.

Click these for info on the currently-available boxes, including pricing:

or ring Virgin on 150

Re: HD boxes question.

Thanks for reply Spiderplant. I'm getting HD on my main tv OK, seems I need a VHD box for my 2nd tv. Guess I'll give 150 a ring & hope to not get too baffled, I can never understand their pricing.

Try this page http://shop.virginmedia.com/existing...de-to-vhd.html

Just £20 to upgrade to V-HD if you connect up the box yourself.
