Vidi Sender & HDMI

I am going to get an HD TV in the sales, but currently have a V+ box going via Scart to Scart TV, with the vidi sender in between.

When I use V+ HDMI to HDMI on new TV, can I still get use the vidi sender to send picture to second TV, whilst still getting HD picture on sending TV?

Thanks to any experts, I have the big / old SA V+ box, not a Samsung.
