Wonderful so i'm still paying £37.50 for 50mb even though new customers get 100mb for £35 after their offer of £25 has ended and i don't get a tickle either, so no upgrade for the loyal customers who have been with Virgin from the start

Re: Speed doubling?
New customers arent getting the upgrade afaik, only customers who are getting it is something like a loyalty bonus. Everyone will be getting it as a rolled out upgradd by area next year. The info is official from a reliable source but hasnt been made public by vm yet

Calm down dear!
All customers will be upgraded in time, these things need to be staggered and monitored to be sure it won't have a massively detrimental effect on the network as a whole.

Re: Speed doubling?
I got this letter. I'm only on L (10Mb) at the moment.
I've been with Virgin since dial-up on NTL. Had to buy the first cable modem when they first started cable.
Anyway, I checked my postcode and I have to wait for my speed increase between Feb to June. Nice to be specific.
But then my postcode has 8 houses in the street and I know that at least 1 has no broadband, 4 have Sky and the other 2 would not exactly be heavy broadband users even if they were on VM. So I guess I was an easy target.

Re: Speed doubling?

I need a higher salary in the job for that! With a minimum wage - no chance!
