OMG. Fluffy bunny rabbits being fed to pet snakes. Someone call the cops.

The point being though such people don't feel the need to glorify this crap on youtube to mass up a public outcry.

Really?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FoGLzajTnHc
The kids seem very excited. Little outcry was recorded.
That's just the first one from a long list of 'burmese feeding time' on Youtube (as suggested by v0id).

What has that got to do with this story? I'm talking about the outcry from this story, that it reached the national press.

We can kill and maim each other....in the name of a faith based entity called "God".
That's about as sick as it gets.

Agreed, well said
Thing is, whilst we Western European types cringe at the thought of a fluffy little kitten being given as a food to a pet, in other parts of the world where kittens/cats/dogs & other animals we like to call pets are used as a food source.
Not only are they used to feed other carnivorous animals but also as a food source for human beings.
One shouldn't knock the fact that the python was given the kitten as food but the fact of its glorification on Utube.

tbf, we can also do it for lots of other reasons (territory, different tribe/skin colour/jealousy/politics/sexual orientation, etc) which leads me to suppose killing & maiming in the name of a faith based entity may be an excuse, not a reason.
But that's probably a discussion for another thread.....

But God is well known. so it's acceptable really.
people would think differently if the excuse of killing and maiming in the name of a faith based entity called "Fairy Lord"

Re: How sick can humans be.
I have looked after several snakes over the years and none of them has ever been feed live food. The owner of this snake did what he did purely for notoriety and should be ashamed of himself.
With so little empathy for a living animal I wonder how he interacts with vulnerable humans such as young children. Would he view his actions as amusing if it were a baby being placed in such a situation? I know I wouldn't want to risk letting him near any child of mine.

Re: How sick can humans be.
I`ve said it before, some people need to be done away with. The python is simply doing what comes naturaly, the people who rape babies are just sick, a sickness only death can cure.
