You two have hit the nail on the head. As long as the streaming is implemented ok, I'd like to replace my other 2 boxes with baby TiVo's.
Knowing VM though, we could still be waiting for the feature to be activated this
time next year!

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
How come when setting an express series link up the default is new and re-runs , surely it would make more sense to have New Only as the default setting.

Forget about express series link just go to explore this show.
They badly need to make express series link configurable in the january update.

It's set to that by default as a kind of fail safe to protect against incorrect meta data.

Yes, without a doubt. It's improved immensely since I picked up the TiVo at launch but it's still far from perfect.
I 100% agree with having user set defaults for a express series links also.

That's a matter of some debate. Personally I don't care whether or not something has been on before - if I want to record it, I want to record it.

I agree.
They was some episodes of South Park recently on Comedy Central with incorrect metadata
(did not say what series it was and did not say what episode it was )
I got that fixed using this.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
Have the BBC sorted out the metadata for Click yet?
I'm not at the TiVo to check

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
Just a very quick question.
If you are recording two programs at the same time whilst watching live TV, and then pause and then start playing the live tv in catchup - what happens if a third program is due to start whilst you are still watching the live catchup?
And why doesn't the third tuner recording light, light up.

I'm fairly sure that a dialog box pops up asking you if you'd like to continue watching '......' or record '........' as scheduled & it's up to you what you'd like TiVo to do. As for the third tuner light, do you mean that it never lights up even when 3 things are being recorded?

that's exactly why I deleted my series link months ago. Was kind of hoping that it would be sorted by now.

What do you mean by reported it? It was mentioned on here many months ago and DF, Ben & Spiderplant all picked up on it. They mentioned that they're reliant on BBC in terms of the metadata they provide that allows TiVo to identify the show.

At least with Click you have the option to watch it on iPlayer instead.
