A comfirmation screen for leaving VoD. Fed up of losing VoD because pressed wrong button in dark and having to start it from beginning.

What would be good is an option for the Pic in Pic mini-screen not to show any tuner thats recording. Its turned off here simply because I don't want to see bits of recording programmes while I'm going through the menus

Re: What would you like in the next Tivo update next year?
When watching a recording and you need to stop it to say, make a cup of tea or go to the shops or whatever, why not make the stop button on the remote actually stop the playing of the programme? Maybe it's me but I can only get the darned thing to stop if I go back to live TV..... (Unless of course, one of you knows better?)

The stop button does actually make it stop now in the new release (jums back to the previous menu usually, or if its in the last few minutes, pops up the keep/delete screen first)

That was fixed in the 15.2 update, so should work now. (the old workaround was Pause followed by Stop).

Re: What would you like in the next Tivo update next year?
The Express Series Link is a great improvement over what was there before, but I'd still like to set my own defaults. In particular the number of shows that are kept, and whether to keep until I delete or delete when space is needed. When I set a new series link, I still have to go into the Series Links to amend these options.
When the mini guide is open, the info button now does the same as the record button. Why can't the info button have the same functionality everywhere, including the EPG?
The speed of the UI isn't a major problem, but it does have its moments while you're waiting for a screen to be drawn or have the spinning red cirlce. The Sky Movies on demand menus are particularly slow.
Exploring On Demand can be painful, with several screens to navigate through before you can actually get to play the content you've selected.
The YouTube app doesn't seem to be working for me (won't play the video), but that issue asside, it's great that we can enter text using the numeric pad on the remote, but the YouTube search screen has a 2-row alphabet layout (yuck) and the remote can't be used.
Out of these, my highest priority would be the ability to set your own series link defaults.
However, still like Tivo, and wouldn't go back!

Re: What would you like in the next Tivo update next year?
Able to tag recordings and process as a block, especially true in suggestions. i.e. tag and delete
To create a group and move all suggestions to that group from a single recording in suggestions.
To order by series/episode/to create sub groups for series.
To have a proper dynamic EPG so you record the program not the time slot.
To have the record engine look through the EPG to best record all the recordings wanted.

Re: What would you like in the next Tivo update?
Why is everyone still going on about Red button being in the next update??
Its been confirmed many times and explained that the 15.2 update adds support for red button access. All that is needed now are the actual apps, which will be released as and when they are ready.
Red button is already in TiVo now Just no way to access it lol.

Some people know that, but remember the way people think: if it doesn't work it obviously isn't there at all.

- Better controls in the BBC iPlayer app. Right now it's very sluggish, doesn't support USB keyboards and is often laggy on HD streams especially when scrolling through to find the point you were at last!
