The really good thing about this is we might finally see an end to PPV boxing in the UK!
When Khan moved to Primetime Live for his fight against McCloskey, Richard Schaefer confirmed if a broadcaster falls out with a Goldenboy fighter, they fall out with the whole stable. Since then Khan Vs. Judah, Floyd Mayweather Vs. Victor Ortiz and Pacman Vs. Marquez III have been on Primetime Live at £14.99 a pop.
Hopefully all future Goldenboy promoted shows will make a return to SKY Sports. Apparently Mayweather Vs. Ortiz bombed in terms of PPV buys.

The death of PPV boxing is more down to poor sales of PPV on Sky and the economic realities at the present time but thats not to say that in 5 years the PPV model night be back in vogue given economic improvement with peoples disposable income.

The question we have to ask is will Boxnation business model work and we will not know the answer to that for at least another year.
