Starting from the 15th November anything recorded from the Sky owned channels (eg, Movies, Sports, Sky 1) onto a V+ or TIVO will not be available to view if you decide to take these channels off afterwards.

Slightly misleading title.

You mean that if you record something on a premium channel then downgrade your package you won't be able to view that recording. Same thing has been happening on Sky+ for ages I believe.

If you no longer have a sub to that channel why should you still be able to view a recording made on that channel?

I know Sky viewers cant view channels they dont pay for - I lost all of mine when I left last June.
