V box and i was currently using a sky+HD - which it makes look like something decrepit and badly dated.

A lot of Skys trump cards have been took away , remote record , HD epg , and as you say the HD gap is closing. Wait until the ipad app and multiroom arrive , I have to say I'm considering my options after my 12 months with Sky.

No I don't think so but I prefer to bundle my services together so probably easier to wait until out of contract with all.

Yes I do believe that is true, But now you mention this I want to ask one thing for the peeps that are on the 15.2 software.

When scrolling back on the EPG is the time now shown on the right had side (not the left when you go forward) As I'am sure this was mentioned at one point?

The main change with the guide seems to be past events. The channel names now appear on the RHS when in the past. The good news is that the catch up links now work properly - I've tried both BBC and ITV programs and they click right through to the correct show (not in their apps, within the TiVo framework, though they stream from their relevent players when played of course). The current time is on the right all of the time (underneath the mini-screen).

If you mean the programme time, then that stays above the listings, with the date and channel name switching to the right when going backwards.

Nope, because it doesn't have a dynamic EPG. So they have no way of telling it that a programme has overrun, or even tell it of a late schedule change.

Shame that would have been a fantastic feature! I have got my TiVo coming on November29 and cant wait.
TiVo does have a manual record like v+ ?

TiVo will advise you to add padding when you record any live events. yes you can also set a manual recording.

Had Tivo installed half an houir ago and still waiting for it to connect. The engineer said it is a network fault and we will just have to wait for it to be cleared - NOT very pleased.
