More choice the better, as long as it does not increase the cost of the packages.

No rumour channels coming, No news from insiders about any coming as well.
I am just saying if Virgin say sign an new deal with Disney we may also see Disney Channel HD, Disney Cinemagic HD, Disney Cinemagic +1, Disney Junior + and Disney XD HD launching on Virgin as part of that new deal.

I wouldn't object to an increase in price for the right channels, or failing that the option to get them for additional charge such as with Sports and Movies.

A friend has asked me to post the following:
http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showp...15&postcount=1
Could this mean Sky Atlantic will become a premium channel on Sky in April 2012 ?

Bear in mind that this is the US version of Antiques Roadshow, not the UK BBC production, so at least it will be a bit different with some US antiques possibly being as much as 235 years old!

Can you elaborate on this please MB?
Do I understand correctly that the BBC News Multi-screen service, which is currently accessed via the Red Button, will be taken away? Is this common to all service providers meaning there will be no News Multi-screen service available to anyone? What's the reason for this as it seemed like a reasonable use of bandwidth?*
I trust that no other Red Button services will be affected by this and we will still have access to the BBC iPlayer, News Headlines, Sports and Weather and other channel specific options via the Red Button.
*Why is it that some of the Multi-screen windows play all of the time but others, such as News Headlines, have to be selected to activate them in a larger window?

I do know the full info but BBC Red Button on BBC News may close.
But I think Virgin and Sky maybe only cut to one stream like Freeview channel 301 - plus the BBC doing that will be let the BBC do away with all the ''Not on Freeview'' carry on.

So what is the bottom rung, no frills, starter box nowadays and what are the alternatives to the V+ box apart from TiVo?
