Re: Pbs First impressions
I'm a big fan of the PBS output, especially the American Experience series and the Ken Burns docu's, looking forward to seeing Prohinition and I hope they show some of his previous programs such as Civil War (brilliant!!), Baseball and The West.
Personally I'm delighted with this addition.

A really good addition to the Virgin Media channel line-up. I enjoyed Prohibition.

I'm looking forward to "Special When Lit", a programme about the history of pinball.

Re: Pbs First impressions
Had a look at the line up last night, absolutely zero here of any interest to me.
I'd rather be watching a certain award winning drama about the prohibition era than a documentary about it

Re: Pbs First impressions
The picture quality, and the in particular the low quality sound puts me off this channel. I get better picture on catchup. They really have squeezed this one in..

Re: Pbs First impressions
Yes, I noticed that I could barely read the end credits on a programme last night.

Re: Pbs First impressions
It'll probably become one of my more watched channels, hopefully they can sort the PQ out soon.

Re: Pbs First impressions
From what I can see there are going to be a number of programmes which I shall watching, But as others have said the PQ leaves a lot to be desired.
However for me the EPG for PBS is completely devoid of any programme information, it merely says To Be Announced. Am I alone on this or have VM launched the channel with an empty EPG?

I think it's a known issue for customers on the new software only. I'll check tomorrow, but I did see something about it.
It's all ok for other TiVo customers.

Thanks for that DF. Hopefully you will be able to get back to us tomorrow as to approximately when a fix might be implemented.

If PBS was a centre forward it would be Giorgios Samaras
