Just a point of note, he's not saying the world will end - just that the Rapture will occur.

"It won't be spiritual on October 21. The world is going to be destroyed altogether, but it will be very quick."
Seems pretty final to me

If Camping had directly incited people to commit suicide then just maybe ... but I dont think he did. There has to come a point where we accept that individuals are responsible for what they believe and for what they do as a result.
