Thats about 2 quid less than I currently pay Virgin for TV, broadband and calls. I left sky because I didn't want to pay more than that for fewer services. I can't see myself ever going back and will be very disappointed if Virgin try to compete on channels with sky at the expense of value for money bundles which include the UK's fastest broadband and largest on demand library.

I'd take it up for an extra tenner or so - wouldn't bother with boxnation though.

even if they virgin do accept my XXL tv pack at £70-85, it will still be better value for money than the full sky tv service, you get a far more vod choice than sky, plus unlike sky, you can get, BBC iplayer, 4od, ITV player and Demand 5
last but not least you can get faster broadband on virgin media thank sky, so your VOD choices upload faster

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2011) Vol. III.
Can someone in the know please clarify the differences between an independant channel launching on SKY and Virgin. Let's take a channel like Scuzz or Dave purely for example purposes.
Does the new channel have to pay SKY for the EPG slot and satellite space whilst Virgin have to actually pay the new channel to join their platform?
Sorry I don't really fully understand the difference between a channel launching on SKY and Virgin. Any info would be great.

a lot of the channels i am suggesting are not crap
i am suggesting more hd channels (like itv 2/3/4 hd, sky news hd, sky sports hd3, hd4 and news hd)
i am suggesting more sports channels (boxnation, premier sports)
i am suggesting more entertainment channels (sky atlantic, cbs drama)
i am suggesting more news channels (nhk world, Al Jazeera English)
and many more good channels
and yes i do think that +1 channels are useful, and it will remain the case until virgin launch a TIVO 3TB 6 tuner set top box
