Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2011) Vol. III.
I sent a email to the Ceo Office on the 4th of October
Quote:
Someone has been saying they were told by the Ceo Office that ITV 2,3,4 HD Is confirmed as coming to Virgin Media.
Someone else was told ITV 2,3 4 HD are coming to Virgin Media in November.
Is this true? If true it's great news.

This was the reply i got on the 7th of October

I bet my house the answer is 'unfortunately the information you have heard has been fabricated but we are always looking to add new HD channels to our lineup'

So, what does the arrival of Sky Anytime on Virgin Media mean for us movie fans?

What is Virgin TV
Sign up to Virgin TV
The good news is that it is going to open the door to hundreds more movies fresh from the cinema that you can enjoy anytime of the day. The bad news is… er, well, there is no bad news.
Basically, if you are already a Virgin Media TV customer and you subscribe to the Sky Movies Collection, you can now access hundreds more movies from Sky Anytime at no extra cost.
If you aren't yet a Virgin Media TV customer then fear not, you can find more information and signing up for it here. If you don't have Sky Movies yet then this can be easily solved by clicking here.
So, what it means for you film fans is that, if you add the 500 movies now available through Sky Anytime to the hundreds of movies already available on FilmFlex and Picturebox, you have a pretty much unbeatable film feast that you can tuck into anytime you fancy.
Now go, you are wasting vital film watching time.

Oh how wrong can you be !!
Spoke to three different operators, and then the boss.
Kept saying they had sent a signal through - put on hold for several minutes each time - nothing.
After what seemed like several hours, the "Boss" said he would send out an engineer !! Kept explaining that it just needed activation at their end, what an engineer was supposed to do I have no idea.
I like Virgin, Tivo etc. but CS have just added the final straw.
I'll take a deep breath wait 24 hours, and then it's a phone call to the dark side I'm afraid

Thanks Dave.
Did 3 reboots when talking to CS !!
Going to leave it till later & try again.
What is really annoying, is that whatever Virgin announce, their operatives haven't a clue what you're talking about.
