Well I'm on a line testing period at the moment and my line is now upto 8mb throughput with an estimated 10mb , obviously not as quick as my 30mb VM connection however YouTube and browsing seems better but to be fair my area has had a lot of contention issues with VM hence why I decided to switch.

I am sorry, I can't remember where I read this, it was probably the Daily Telegraph, but Sky are having problems agreeing the technical issues with the BBC, and this is why I believe it will be some time yet before the whole thing is resolved for them.
I know that streaming services are provided by Sky on line, but I was talking about streaming services to the TV, which is how the majority of people watch programmes.

Sky stream services to TV via XBOX 360 , so anything is possible.
