Just Upgraded
I've just upgraded both of our V+ boxes to TiVo 500 boxes...presuming this was a nobrainer - especially as it has cost us nothing?

Cost you nothing? Had to agree to pay x2 £49.95 for mine! - How did you manage it?

We're on VIP100 and I just asked for them.
We had a leaflet through advertising free installs etc.

Have you had your first bill since upgrading yet?
The TiVo activation charge and installation charge are different things!

Re: Just Upgraded
Well you better start getting ready to discuss dropping the almost £100 charge which will be on your next bill!

Re: Just Upgraded
You're missing my point. I asked repeated times "So there will be nice charges to upgrade to these new boxes, whether monthy or one off" and I was told "no".

Re: Just Upgraded
Robertus, to allay any doubts you may have, it may be best checking your bill on-line - it should show if any activation charges have been put on.
If they have, I would suggest ringing VM to clarify matters.

Yes. The only bit of the red button that currently works is access to the BBC iplayer.. The other bit are being coded as Tivo has never had a red button capability.

If you asked whether there would be nice charges, and you were told 'no', I wonder if they will be horrendous charges!
