Different people have different priorities/requirements/likes - what's so strange about that?
I understand that others may be willing to pay for extra HD - I am not.
btw, if I was using TiVo only for it's EPG, you would have a point - as I'm not, you haven't.... 
I consider the benefits and facilities outweigh a few bugs/features.

But l suspect you get some incorrect data on your Sky box as well and remember Tivo would have far more data on it as well to download MM.

But I save money doing that.
I was paying nearly £10 per week for the Times and the Sunday Times (hard copy) - I now pay £8.80 per month for the iPad and online versions (I read the iPad version on the way to/from work, on the bus).
Result - saving money, more methods of access, less paper to recycle.

i would have thought it would be in ITV's best interest to give vm the hd channels a.s.a.p as they were supposed to having severe financial problems weren't they? virgin could have had them 1yr ago, the extra cash they have missed out in that time surely must be more harmful than making a deal for a lower price for a 3yr contract or something?
