50 Mb

Hi,

I'm waiting for my upgrade to 50Mb,but have a few questions please.

I know that the superhub is set to 5Ghz by default, this is fine for my 360 and ipad2,but not for my 3GS ,netbook or laptop.

Is there any difference in speed and performance if I change to 2.4Ghz ?.

And will the N spec running in 2.4 still see my other equipment,Is it backward compatible ?

Thanks

Re: 50 Mb

2.4Ghz vs. 5Ghz performance will vary depending on your environment and circumstances.

2.4Ghz has longer range, but is more prone to interference and has lower total capacity in the band.

5Ghz will tend to be faster at close range, 2.4Ghz will tend to be faster the further away you get.
