l never delude myself but l certainly do not adopt the pessimism that has been prevalent among some forum members lately with regards to new channels and my advice is to wait and see what the rest of this year offer and you never know you might be surprised.

I don't think reliable sources here have said one way or the other.

Mine is not pessimism Den,I would love to tell Sky and Murdoch and all they stand for to go and jump but the truth of the matter is there is some content that Sky offer (and do annoyingly well) that for me Virgin have not yet matched,I will use Sky Atlantic HD and the full use and response of the red button service as an example as I am an avid sports nut.Virgin provides the very best broadband service of any I have ever tried (and I have used plenty over the years),their phone service also does it for me,my only lasting doubt are the issues I have stated above,so all in all I would love VM to come out in the next few months and say they are offering these services and who knows I may then be rivaling you as Richard Bransons number 1 fan. :

Firstly we will be getting the Sky Sports red button very soon but how much depth and functionality that will be on it is another matter until we get it which will be very soon and on your second point well yes l would like Sky Atlantic but at a price that does not border on greed and stupidity and well if l am Richard Bransons greatest fan then l wonder who is Murdoch's greatest fan ( MM )

I just wonder what Branson has to do with VM? The same can be said about Murdoch as both of them do not have the controlling shares in the companies?

Yes you are right with that but the public seem to think these are the men in charge of these companies and the ones that hold the purse strings.

Very true as you are able to say that "Branson is the face of Virgin" ( no pun intended )
And Murdoch ( who cares )

The question is how many people care enough to remember a rumor - I have problems remembering facts !
