Its great news that your latest high tech tivo boxes are now starting to run correctly.

So was this issue caused by the adding of reminders?

Yes about same for me, all series links now back to normal so thanks for the info John

I was wondering if this problem as been announced anywhere as I know a couple of folk who would not go onto a Forum so I assume would be ignorant of the problem

Not everything is perfect and there will always be the chance of something that does not function as intended - however 99% of the time these problems can be fixed.

Since when was reminders added?

Oh and glad I saw this thread, do I need to just connect to the network or do I need to reboot as well?

I do feel a twinge of sympathy for the VM staff. Something this serious must have given cause for a few changes of underpants. Well it would have me.

. Still love my Tivo..............just.

Series links now back
Took about an hour.
Problems with catch-up, but hopefully will be OK later.

I think you just need to connect to the network. Ken I think the ones who don't know will get the update 26 hours after they last connected. I think it would be good if they used the message system to let people know what happened though.

TiVo will also automatically find repeats of series links it has missed, if there are any repeats. For example, Top Gear hadn't recorded for us this evening on BBC HD but now the series links are fixed it is appearing on our planned recordings for BBC HD on Wednesday evening at 8pm.

Yes, I noticed that when I had a complete loss of all VM services for 2 days a while ago. When the service was restored my TiVo recorded repeat showings of as many shows as it could find. Pretty handy, really.

OH my gosh - when did this start?? I had everything I set record on Thursday and Friday and one individual item recorded yesterday that I set, but I've only just gone in tonight and seen this, have set both my TiVo's up (even though it says they had successful connections both yesterday and today - I check every day or two). I can see them doing some serious downloading.

Anyway, I was coming here to ask about this while I was waiting for them to load info - but holy cow?? What happened!!

I had an issue a few weeks back where there was a failure to connect for about a week that I hadn't noticed so EPG data was way behind and a forced connection and a reboot sorted that, but this is BIG!! Just off to read all the info.

BTW no it won't make me re-think my TiVo or VM - stuff happens, but I'm so glad it didn't happen a couple of weeks ago as I wouldn't have been around to restore it or force anything. YIKES!!

ETA from reading sounds like in another hour or two everything will be good - just need to check on the stuff that was missed yesterday and today. OMGosh hubby will be heartbroken about Top Gear (oops!!). I'll have to tell him 'catch up TV' or hopefully it will find the repeat.

I'm away on holiday - will my Series Links sort themselves out in my absence or will I come home in two weeks to an empty TiVo?

It will sort it self out before you get home Nialli, and any series links it missed will be recorded if there are repeats being shown. BTW are you the same Nialli from Nthellworld?

All Series Links now OK.

Missed Camelot on Saturday, tried catch-up, and although it has the catch-up symbol, Ok sends you off to "Catch up on demand", whereas before it would allow you to play directly.

Problem is it doesn't show on 4OD. Anybody else having this problem since uploading the fix ??
